GM sets up fund for recall crash victims
A fund set up by automaker GM for its faulty ignition switches has received 63 death claims so far.
That's about five times more than the 13 deaths the company has officially admitted to.
Victim compensation specialist Ken Feinberg says he's received 125 claims including the fatality claims.
However, just because a claim is received doesn't mean it's eligible to be paid.
The fund began accepting claims August 1st, and will continue to do so until the end of the year.
Feinberg's office says claims will get a response within three to four months of their submission.
