Power outages along the Gulf Coast due to Nate

Currently 2,600 without power in the Mobile, Co.{ }

UPDATE 7:21 A.M.

As of 7:15, Baldwin EMC has approximately 1,681 meters out of power due to Hurricane Nate. Crews are working diligently to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.

OUTAGES BY AREA

• North of Interstate 10: 578 meters without power

• Between Interstate 10 and U.S. Highway 98 going east/west: 452 meters without power

• South of U.S. Highway 98: 651 members meters power


UPDATE 6:35 A.M.

BALDWIN EMC: There are about 2,700 meters out. Crews are getting ready to resume damage assessment and power restoration.

ALABAMA POWER: 54,000 customers in the Mobile area remain without power.

UPDATE: 6:00 A.M.

ALABAMA POWER: 59,000 customers without power; 56,000 of those are in the Mobile area.

GULF POWER: 4,657 outages in Escambia County, 5,759 outages in Okaloosa County, 1,091 in Santa Rosa County.

CLARKE COUNTY: According to Clarke County EMA, approximately 1700 households without power in Clarke County this hour.

UPDATE 5:40 A.M.

ALABAMA POWER: About 55,000 without power in the Mobile area. We are working and will be working throughout the day.

RIVIERA UTLITIES: 312 customers out in scattered outages across the County

BALDWIN COUNTY EMC: 977 meters are out at this time. Crews will begin to restore power at daybreak. Our call center is taking calls at (251) 989-6247.

UPDATE 3:45 A.M.

ALABAMA POWER: With Nate coming ashore, there are currently 48,000 customers without service. Most in the Mobile Area. Another 2,000 without power, widely scattered across the state.
