Marginal Risk for severe weather continues along Gulf Coast
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) —
Five states across the Gulf Coast are under a “marginal” risk for severe weather on Sunday.
Showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to move across our viewing area Sunday afternoon into the evening hours. Some of these storms will be strong, and a few possibly severe.
High, damaging winds are the main concern out of this system, however, a brief tornado is not out of the question.
Along with the possible threat of storms, we also a high risk for rip currents for the rest of the weekend, and a Small Craft Advisory will be in effect from late Sunday night into Tuesday morning.
