Each Christmas, WEAR teams up with Hill-Kelly Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and surprises deserving people with a big Christmas gift.

The dealership gives away more than $3,000 in cash and presents to our three finalists.

Bill Kane is one of the finalists.

He has spent just about every day in Panama City since Hurricane Michael. He volunteers with the Cajun Navy.

He's helped remove people from their homes, arranged Thanksgiving meals, and has collected clothing and toys for many in need. That's why Ashley Strabala thought he deserved to be recognized.

Hill-Kelly Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram surprised the family with $750 and lots of presents.

Strabala said, "He spent every single day to help the people in the Hurricane Michael area, he's cut people out of their houses, cut down trees, put out the word on how people can help."

Bill Kane said he does this because, "They would do it for us. I believe if it would have been Navarre, the people of Panama City would help us."

Kane says this Christmas will be a bit more bright for his family and he will use the money to donate even more to organizations like the Angel Tree.

Another finalist was the Hernandez family.

It's been a tough year for them, 8 people, including 5 children are living in a trailer.

The matriarch works as a nurse assistant and helps other families in their most difficult times, that's why Robyn Norris nominated them.

Amy Hernandez was there and cared for Robyn's mother in her final days.

Robyn said, " I know a lot of the hardships she's gone through, now her daughter has come to live with her with her three small children and is pregnant with another on the way. I know it's a struggle, I wanted to do something for Christmas."

Hill-Kelly Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram surprised the family with $750 and lots of presents.

Robyn said, "My heart is just so warm watching all these little kids open the presents, thank you so much."

Amy's daughter Stephanie was overcome with emotion. She said, "My mom works 10-12 hours a day, and takes care of all of us....it means a lot to our family."

The family plans to use the money to make their Christmas a bit brighter this year.
