CRESTVIEW, Fla. (WEAR) Authorities arrested a 34-year-old Crestview man after he attacked his friends with a 2x4 during an argument.

According to a police report, Terrell Lopez and two of his friends had been drinking Friday at Don's Icehouse Factory and they got into an argument on the ride home.

Lopez's friends say he got out of the car and attacked 32-year old Jerry Cleckler with the wooden board. 46-year old Alvin Cowan of Mossy Head tried to stop the fight. Cowan was hit and suffered multiple facial fractures. Cleckler also had injuries to his face and both arms.

Both men were taken to North Okaloosa Medical Center in Crestview.

Deputies said Lopez was also combative on the way to the Okaloosa County Jail and began banging his head against the back of the cage in the patrol car.
