OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) A Crestview man is charged with trafficking heroin and trespassing.

Okaloosa deputies arrested 39-year-old Jonathan Berry at his mother's condo on Miracle Strip Parkway. He had an active trespass warning for that address for tearing the screen from a window near the unit before.

The arrest report says he had 28 rams of heroin in 53 jeweler's bags, as well as syringes. Deputies say he denied selling the drug and told them he was a "beast" who could easily ingest an ounce of heroin by himself.

Deputies say he told them he bought it in Arizona for personal use. However, deputies say the drugs were packaged in a manner consistent with distribution.
