Warmer Days Ahead

Sick of the cold weather, or do you simply just love it?

You may still be defrosting from the frigid weekend.

Well below-average temperatures lingered through the weekend. Highs on Saturday were in the 30s & 40s and 50s on Sunday. Morning temperatures were in the teens and 20s.

Northwest Florida had hard freeze warnings and wind chill advisories in effect.

You can tuck away the winter gear (at least temporarily) by mid-week.

As high pressure moves to the east, our winds will begin to shift out of the east and eventually from the south and southeast.

You know what that means...air move will move in from the Gulf of Mexico, which will allow us to warm up. Conditions will be more humid, too. (Ugh!)

Temperatures are expected to be above-average in the 70s by mid-week.

Morning fog will be likely this week.

Latest model trends show that temperatures are expected to stay in the 70s at least through the weekend.

No significant rainfall accumulations are in the forecast for at least the next 7 days, but of course, this is subject to change.

A few stray showers will be possible starting on Tuesday.
