ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. -- A 23-year-old man is charged with attempted homicide for Wednesday morning's Brownsville shooting.

According to the arrest report, the victim said he was driving to Cutty Sark liquor store on Mobile Hwy. around 10 a.m. when he decided to clean out his truck.
The report states he pulled overin the area of Green Street and Garnett Circle. After cleaning out his truck, he threw out trash in a back road, but then began to pick it up.
According to the report, the victim said two males eventually approached him and a verbal altercation began. The report states as the victim tried to walk away, one man shot him in the upper left chest.
The victim got in his car, drove to the Cutty Sark store and called the sheriff's office, according to the report.
The report states the victim helped identify the suspect at the home near where he was shot.
Blackmon is being held in Escambia County Jail on$100,000 bond, according to jail view.
