Undisclosed threat resulted in brief shutdown at Escambia High School
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR-TV) —
A local high school in Escambia County was placed on a brief shutdown and later lifted on Monday afternoon.
According to Escambia County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO), school officials placed Escambia High School on a lockdown due to an undisclosed threat.
ECSO stated the students were on a partial movement within the building while they investigated the threat.
The Sheriff’s Office did not disclose the details of the threat at the high school and shortly informed Channel 3 News that the school was resuming normal operations.
