Bond has been denied for a Milton man arrested in a domestic violence case.

According to an arrest report, Demmy Pitts “swung a knife” at his girlfriend while her son was standing next to her.

The report states Pitts and his girlfriend had gotten into an argument at a home located on the 10000 block of West Lake Road in Milton.

When she returned, the arrest report states he attempted to stab her with a knife and forced her and two children inside a bedroom, and threaten them with a gun stuffed in his sock. The 13-year-old told deputies “Demmy said he was going to kill them all”, according to the report.

A 13-year-old boy and a 3-year-old managed to escape through a window. The 13-year-old told a neighbor he could not call 911 or Demmy would kill him the report said.

Later in the report deputies learned the “gun” was a plastic object.
