A Century woman is facing felony battery charges after allegedly stabbing her fiance while inside her car.

According to an Escambia County Sheriff's Office (ECSO) arrest report, an ECSO deputy responded to the 5000 block of Commerce Park Drive on Wednesday in reference to a stabbing victim.

Details of the report state that upon arrival, a victim at the scene told the deputy that he was stabbed by his fiance, Tonie Breanna Evelyn Johnson, 20, of Century, after a verbal argument in Johnson's car.

The deputy noted that the victim had a cut on his left arm, according to the report.

The ECSO arrest report also states that the deputy later located a witness who was in the car at the time of the incident, who stated that she saw Johnson hit the victim multiple times while they were in the car but did not see a knife in Johnson's hand.

The witness did not know that the victim was stabbed until the victim got out of the car, according to the report.

Johnson was arrested and charged with one count of felony aggravated battery. She is being held on a $250 bond at the Escambia County Jail.
