City of Pensacola proposes land swap to YMCA officials
PENSACOLA, FLA. (WEAR-TV) —
The Pensacola City Council wants to do a land swap with the YMCA.
The city is offering to give the 'Y' a piece of land on Summit Boulevard, by the Roger Scott pool.
In exchange, the city wants the YMCA's property on Langley Avenue, next to Hitzman-Optimist Park.
The City of Pensacola wants the Langley Avenue property to develop a soccer complex.
The city council will discuss the proposal at its meeting on Thursday.
