ECSO: Four-time convicted felon busted with heroin, Xanax, firearms

A Pensacola man is facing several charges after deputies reportedly found heroin, Xanax, and firearms on him.

According to the Escambia County Sheriff's Office (ECSO), investigators ran into four-time convicted felon Lytle Stephen Jr. Thursday night while responding to a different call. Stephen was in a parked car near a home on Bremen Avenue off of Gulf Beach Highway.

Deputies reported smelling marijuana coming from Stephen's vehicle and went to investigate.

ECSO said Stephen had 64 individuals baggies of heroin, 29 Xanax bars, and two firearms in his possession.

Stephen has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, weapon offense, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, heroin possession with intent to sell, and marijuana possession.

According to the Escambia County Jail log, he's being held on a $13,500 bond.
