Escambia County fire crews are working to put out a large house fire engulfed in flames .

According to Escambia County Fire Rescue officials, firefighters received a call about a residential house fire at 8:21 p.m. on Wednesday.

The fire occurred at the 60 block of Stanford Road in Pensacola, Florida.

Upon arrival to the residence, rescue officials say firefighters found the single structure home fully engulfed in flames.

Rescue crews managed to put the fire under control at 9:03 p.m., however firefighters are currently still working the fire at the residence.

Escambia County officials tell Channel 3 News they conducted a primary search on the home and did not find anyone at the residence.

The state Fire Marshal was notified and will be investigating the cause of the blaze.
