A Pensacola man is sitting in Escambia County jail after an arrest report states he stabbed his sister’s front door with a screwdriver while visiting her home.

Escambia County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) responded to a disturbance complaint on Saturday at a home in Escambia County.

The report states, 27- year-old Joshua Patrick Davis was visiting his sister’s home when he became belligerent after consuming too much to drink.

The report states, when Davis was asked to leave the home, he grabbed a screwdriver and stabbed the inside part of his sister’s front door.

Davis then went to the side of the house and broke the backyard fence, says the report.

According to the report, Davis left the residence on foot walking in a unknown direction.

The report revealed deputies located Davis on at the intersection of Avondale Road and Kimberly Avenue and noticed he had a heavy smell of alcohol coming from his person.

When ECSO questioned Davis, he stated in the report he did not know what the deputy was referring to and he had not been drinking.

The report states pictures were taken of the damages at the residence and Davis was arrested and transported to Escambia County Jail.

Davis was charged with a misdemeanor of criminal mischief and given a court date of December 26 and a bond of $500.
