It was all about educating people on the risk for heart disease and learning how to improve your health.

"I think it's very important that we increase awareness of the community. Escambia county still has high incidents of cardiovascular disease and its ever importing improving cardiovascular healthcare to improve awareness to support the community members as well as the health care workers," said Dr. Safwan Jaalouk, a cardiologist.

People who went to the event were treated to health food demonstrations, entertainment and kids activities.
