Son's Christmas gift, firearm, and more stolen from veteran's Niceville home

NICEVILLE, Fla. (WEAR) — Okaloosa County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after a Niceville home was burglarized just before Christmas.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, a Dell laptop, cellphone, and a firearm were stolen from the victim's home on Saturday, December 23, in the 500 block of Bailey Drive.

The victim, Sgt. Don Sanders (Ret.), told Channel 3 Newshe noticedthe items weremissing on Christmas Eve. He said the cell phone wasmeant to be a Christmasgiftfor his son.

Sanders said neighbors toldhimtheynoticed a womanwalk to his door two separate times on the23rd.
