Gulf Power deploys linemen to restore power to customers
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FLA. (WEAR-TV) —
WEAR's Renee Beninate spoke with Gulf Power officials from the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds on Wednesday who say they will work aggressively to get power restored to customers.
Linemen from across the country are ready to deploy and help get the power restored to areas slammed by Hurricane Michael.
Gulf Power has hundreds of employees heading to Okaloosa and Santa Rosa Counties to restore power to residents.
Gordon Paulus, Gulf Power spokesperson says, they anticipate restoring power to all residents in both counties by Thursday night by the latest.
Paulus says Gulf Power storm plan has been implemented and it works.
Residents can expect to see crews working during the night and more will drive in to Panama City on Thursday morning.
