Hadji Shrine deemed safe after drop ceiling collapse
ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) —
The Hadji Shrine Temple has been deemed safe after a close call on December 1.
Escambia County Fire Rescue and EMS resonded Saturday to a call after part of the shrine’s ceiling collapsed due to a water leak.
A woman was injured from the incident and taken to Sacred Heart Hospital as a trauma alert.
Officials now say the building has been deemed safe.
The shrine is in the process of retaining their repair permits.
