Many people are talking about President Trumps claims on twitter after claimed Hurricane Maria death toll numbers to be false.

President Trump posted on twitter Thursday morning and said, "3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico. When I left the island, after the stor,m had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths."

He also said, "This was done by democrats in order to make me look as bad as possible when I was successfully raising billions of dollars to help rebuild Puerto Rico."

Channel 3 News asked people what they think of the tweets.

He said that he did not agree with the posts.

"I don't think that's presidential at all. I don't think it's presidential for a president to use twitter to communicate. That's for 15-year-old girls," said Jadallah.

While another man said he believes half of the content when President Trump claims that democrats want to make him look bad.

"I am not exactly sure of the exact figures or what not but yes mam I do believe that the democrats are against Trump and they will do anything in their power to make him look bad," said Legrand Zimmerman.

Another person told Channel 3 News that this was the first time reading the tweets.

"Donald Trump's certainly a character... umm jeez I'm not sure how I feel about that honestly. I didn't even know he made those tweets. I don't really do twitter," said Sean Mcaughlon.

Many people don't believe his numbers are accurate.

I have no way of knowing the actual figures but I would think it was heavier than 18," said Zimmerman.

"I don't know how accurate that may be... a little bit paranoid I guess," said Mcaughlon.

"He needs to talk to the Puerto Ricans. because they did suffer a lot, said Robert Gil.
