The woman charged in a two-state killing spree appeared in court on Thursday.

Mary Rice was the accomplice of serial murderer Billy Boyette.

Authorities say Boyette murdered Alicia Greer, Jacqueline Moore, Peggy Broz, and Kayla Crocker in 2017. Rice was reportedly with Boyette during the murders.

Boyette died and Rice was taken into custody after a standoff with police that happened in West Point, Georgia.

In a hearing, the trial was continued until March 27.

Rice has been charged with one count of first-degree premeditated murder and two counts of being an accessory after the fact.

She's being tried in Escambia County.
