New NatGeo show featuring Northwest Florida animal refuge to premiere Saturday

A Northwest Florida animal shelter is being featured on a new National Geographic TV show.

The show follows a Walton County Sheriff's deputy as she tracks down and investigates suspected animal abuse cases, alongside Laurie Hood, founder of Alaqua Animal Refuge.

Animal PD on NatGeo air at 9 p.m. on Saturday.
