Not Guilty: Doctor cleared in Three Doors Down guitarist's death
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
A federal jury has sided with Dr. Richard Snellgrove on charges related to the death of Three Doors Down guitarist Matthew Roberts.
Roberts died of a drug overdose in August 2016.
Prosecutors say Snellgrove over-prescribed Roberts fentanyl and other powerful painkillers leading to his death.
On Monday, a jury found the Fairhope doctor not guilty.
He still faces a civil lawsuit from Roberts' family.
