Okaloosa County School District employee enter not guilty plea in child abuse case
OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) —
A former Okaloosa County assistant superintendent charged in a child abuse case involving the school district has entered a plea.
Stacie Smith has been charged with failure to report child abuse. She turned herself in January 29 and resigned two days later.
She entered a not guilty plea Thursday.
Smith's next court date is set for March 7.
