Pedestrian hit 3 times, only one vehicle stopped

A man walking down Barrancas is run over three times, and police said only one vehicle stopped to render aid.

The incident happened on April 15th at 3 a.m. on Barrancas Avenue near Main Street.

According to a report, the victim walked into the roadway and was struck by a vehicle.

Police said that driver called 911, but before EMS arrived, a dark colored F-150 Platinum truck hit the man and did not stop.

Moments later, a third vehicle, a 2004-2009 Toyota 4-Runner SUV, struck the victim again.

“The driver stopped, exited the vehicle and walked over to the victim,” a report states.

The driver of the Toyota then took off westbound on Barrancas.
