A 62-year-old Pensacola woman is facing battery charges after allegedly attacking and robbing her sister.

According to a Pensacola Police Department (PPD) arrest report, PPD officers responded to a disturbance at West Blount Street on February 4th.

Upon arrival, Murrayann Walker told officers that while she was dropping off her sister, Maria Christene Shine, at the residence, Shine attacked and robbed her.

The report states that Walker told police Shine was sitting in the backseat of her car when Shine grabbed Walker's wig off of her head, pulling off her glasses, and took $100 from the vehicle's center console.

According to the police report, Shine told officers that she had been choked and robbed of money by Walker.

The responding officer did not find any money on Shine's person, the report stated.
