Deputies are asking the public for help in identifying two men they say committed an armed robbery and injured a store clerk Monday night.

The Escambia County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a shots fired call at Nations Mart convenience store in the 2800 block of Patricia Drive just before 10 p.m.

The sheriff's office said two men armed with guns entered the store and fired two shots once inside. One of the bullets ricocheted and injured the store clerk.

One of the men has been described as a black man approximately 6'3" and around 170 pounds with a slim build. Deputies say he was wearing a long-sleeve shirt and shorts, a beanie, and a face mask.

The sheriff's office said the second robber is a black man approximately 5'6" and around 150 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie and camouflage sweatpants, a ball cap, and a white face mask.

Both men left the store on foot, the sheriff's office said.

The men are wanted for armed robbery, aggravated battery, battery, grand theft, and criminal mischief.
