Police identify man killed in shooting at Atmore graduation party

ATMORE, Ala. (WEAR) — The victim killed in a shooting at an Atmore high school graduation party has been identified.

The Atmore Police Department says 19-year-old Chirshawn Jermaine Westry of Atmore was killed.

Eight others were injured from the shooting.

The shooting took place Friday night at the former Escambia County Middle School.

The other victims were treated for their injuries and released from local hospitals.
