Police: Juvenile shot in drive-by shooting in Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla. -- A juvenile was shot in the leg in a drive-by shooting in Pensacola Saturday night.

It happened around 9:15 p.m.in the area of J Street and Brainerd Street.

Pensacola Police says "ShotSpotter technology alerted the incident in addition to a call received to Pensacola Police Dispatch."

Police arrived to find a juvenile with a non life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.

"No suspects are in custody at this time and the investigation is ongoing," Pensacola Police tells WEAR News.

No further details were released.
