A Pensacola man is behind bars after an arrest report states he kept a woman against her will for days.

The incident started on Monday, November 1.

According to the arrest report, the victim was waiting on a ride at West Blount Street when a car pulled up and was told by 31-year-old Henry Lee Sanders that he would kill her if she didn’t get in the car.

The report says Sanders took the victim’s two cell phones once she got in the car and was eventually taken to Silver Lake Mobile Home Park.

Sanders made the victim “go to a back bedroom where she was not allowed to leave or call anyone,” the report states.

The victim told the Pensacola Police Department she was not allowed to eat for four days.

The report states the victim was then taken from the mobile home to an apartment on West Nine Mile Road.

While at the apartment, Sanders told the victim that she better drop an aggravated battery charged against him from a previous incident “or no one would find her,” the report states.

Later that same day, the victim said Sanders went to the bathroom and she was able to go to a closet where she knows he hides things and found one of her phones.

The report states the victim grabbed the phone and ran out of the front door with Sanders following her.

The victim made it to the Target on Nine Mile Road and ran inside, asking an employee to call police, the report states.

Pensacola police say Sanders ran off before they arrived.

Sanders was arrested and on Thursday and charged with kidnapping and false imprisonment. He's being held in the Escambia County Jail on a $10,500 bond.
