A Pensacola man is behind bars for allegedly stabbing a man in the forehead and running away.

The incident happened back on November 12, 2018 in the 3700-block of West Lloyd Street in Escambia County.

The victim told Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies he was visiting a friend. A half-hour before the stabbing, the report states the victim got into an argument with the friend’s roommate, later identified as 54-year-old Lee Frank Robinson.

According to the report, when the victim opened the front door to go outside he was stabbed in the forehead with a knife. The victim was taken to Baptist Hospital for treatment.

The victim’s friend told deputies she witnessed the stabbing and said Robinson took off on Kirk Street. However, she told deputies she didn’t know where Robinson would go to hide because he had no family in the area.

A perimeter was set up by deputies and K-9s were used to try and track Robinson, but he was not found.

Robinson was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Escambia County Jail. He’s being held on a $20,000 bond for a charge of aggravated battery.
