Report: Man caught drifting in Milton arrested on drug charges

A traffic stop in Santa Rosa County led to a drug bust on Monday morning.

According to an arrest report, a Santa Rosa County Sheriff's deputy pulled over 34-year-old Phillip Daniel Carlisle after seeing him drift off Highway 90 in Milton.

Deputies said after running Carlisle's information, they found he had three suspensions on his driver's license and an active warrant in Escambia County.

The arrest report said deputies also found methamphetamine, a glass meth pipe, and a used syringe during a search of the car.

Carlisle has been charged with driving with a suspended license, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He's being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail on a $6,000 bond.
