ST Engineering to expand aerospace campus in Pensacola
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) —
ST Engineering is getting ready to expand its aerospace campus in Pensacola.
The plan calls for a 655,000 square foot airframe building and hundreds of new jobs.
ST Engineering will invest $35 million in the $210 million project.
The rest of the money will come from state and local governments, Triumph Gulf Coast, and other agencies.
Mayor Ashton Hayward, Escambia Commission Chair Jeff Bergosh, and FloridaWest CEO traveled to Singapore to sign the agreement.
The new facilities will include three widebody hangars and an office building.
They’ll be added next to the facility that opened in 2018 at Pensacola International Airport.
