Suspected kidnapper/rapist issued $250k bond, must stay away from victim
A Pensacola man arrested and charged with kidnapping and sexual assault went before an Escambia County Judge Thursday.
Bond was set at $250,000 for Corey Hill but that could change.
Assistant State Attorney Erin Ambrose told the Judge the state may charge Hill with first degree felony sexual assault.
Ambrose stress the victim was unable to resist.
Pensacola Police confirm there is video of the alleged attack which is being held for evidence. Channel 3 News has chosen not to show it.
Ambrose also told the Judge she met with the victim who had some requests for the conditions of Hill’s bond and potential.
“She is asking for no bond” Ambrose stated. “She is in fear of this man. She is asking for no contact and she is actually asking for passive GPS monitoring because if it were active, in the exclusionary zone, he would know where she lived and worked”.
If Hill posts bond, he is required to wear a GPS and cannot go within 500 feet of the victim or the witnesses named in the arrest report.
He must also stay away from bars or any place where alcohol is the primary source of revenue.
Hill is set to be arraigned August 30th.
Channel 3 News did an investigation on Hill's history with law enforcement.
