These 'big game' snacks take five minutes and only have five ingredients

The Super Bowl is right around the corner, so folks are probably getting their chips and dips, but what about wowing your guests with something creative and different?

James Collins works with the Bodacious Group in downtown Pensacola. He has two snacks that are perfect for game day if you're on a time limit, plus the ingredients are minimal.

Collins told Channel 3, "Well we are doing a couple appetizers today. We're doing a flatbread pizza that we sell down at the Brew and it only takes five minutes and we're doing out blood orange shrimp, which we cook in our blood orange olive oil. All these recipes are really easy and you can buy them all at your local grocery store."

All of the ingredients are easy to find at the grocery store.

Flatbread pizza

Precooked flatbread pizza crust

1 cup mozzarella cheese

3tlb spoons of pizza sauce

8 slices of Roma tomato

8 leaves of basil

A drizzle of Tuscan olive oil

Cooking instructions:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • Place pizza directly on the rack and cook for 5 minutes

Blood orange shrimp

1 dozen shrimp

½ of mango diced

1/2 of a red bell pepper diced

¼ cup blood orange olive oil

12 endive leaves

Cooking instructions:

  • In a saucepan add the olive oil, shrimp and cook over medium heat. Cook until shrimp are done. Let shrimp cool; place shrimp on the endive and sprinkle with red pepper and mango.
