Three people are wanted in connection with a shooting that happened Saturday in Escambia County. According to Maj. Andrew Hobbs with the Escambia County Sheriff's Office (ECSO), one person was shot.

Maj. Hobbs told Channel 3 news a blue sedan, possibly a Cadillac, drove to a home in the 3200 block of East Johnson Avenue around 10:44 p.m. Three people who were standing in the yard were approached by three people who emerged from the vehicle.

Hobbs said someone from the vehicle asked the group of people if they wanted to buy drugs. When the offer was declined, Hobbs said, the vehicle's passenger pulled out a firearm and shot at the group, hitting one person.
