The chance for showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible at any time during the day and evening on Saturday.

A few strong storms, along with an isolated severe storm will be possible.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed Northwest Florida under a Slight Risk (2/5) and Marginal Risk (1/5) for strong to severe storms on Saturday.

The main threat on Saturday will be damaging winds, however, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

Rain looks most likely late Saturday through Sunday night. Heavy rain and gusty winds will be the threats on Sunday. Also, a brief tornado will be possible.

Once the weekend wraps up, our area could see 2 to 3 inches of rain, with higher amounts for some areas, which could lead to isolated flash flooding.
