Woman gets 20 years in prison for trafficking over $138,000 worth of drugs

    A 38-year-old woman has been sentenced to twenty years in state prison after entering a no contest plea to drug trafficking charges.

    According to a release from the State Attorney's Office, on June 1, 2018 Destiny Monique Hobson allegedly sold approximately thirty ounces of methamphetamine to a confidential informant at a Warrington hotel.

    Hobson was taken into custody and a search warrant was obtained for her hotel room.

    There, more than fifty grams of heroin and morphine were found as well as fifty grams of methamphetamine, the release revealed.

    The release said there were also smaller amounts of cocaine, alprazolam and hydrocodone found.

    The estimated street value of the drugs seized was more than $138,000.
