GALLERY: UF protesters hope signs show that love is louder than hate

Access to many streets on the University of Florida's campus was blocked off Thursday. It's part of the tight security UF is providing before, during and after white nationalist Richard Spencer and his "alt-right" supporters arrive.

One thing that's prevalent are signs of support for those opposed to Spencer's message.

"I think it's important to let the message of love and acceptance be louder than the message of hate," said Jennie Richards, from Jacksonville, Florida.
