First spring practice of the season kicks off for UWF football
PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) —
When UWF football started spring practice last year, just producing a winning record seemed like a reasonable goal.
Those expectations have changed.
The Argos are coming off the mind-boggling run to the national championship game in just their second season of playing the sport.
Pete Shinnick's crew has a lot of familiar faces as they gear up for season three.
Seventeen out of 21 starters are back. Not to mention many other key contributors.
One noticeable absence for spring is quarterback Mike Beaudry. He's still recovering from hip surgery, but overall coming off tremendous success with so many returners.
There's a lot to feel great about this spring.
Fifteen practices will lead up to the spring game on April 21.
