UWF basketball ranked 10th in nation

UWF basketball continues to make program history. The latest, a number 10 national ranking, their best ever.

Two wins in Tennessee last week, at places this program usually doesn't do well, makes it 16 out of 17 on the season. Balanced scoring continues to be a key, five guys are averaging between 16 and 11 points with different guys stepping up different nights.

Making it all flow is Rashaan Benson at the point. A junior in his third year as the starter, he has really developed his game.

With all the balance and efficiency on offense, it's UWF's defense that may be most impressive. A group giving up just 66 points a game is led by senior DJ Thorpe.

His 51 steals leads the conference and is fourth in the nation. The Argos have won 18 straight at home, two more this weekend would break the program record for consecutive home wins, a mark that dates to the 1960's.
