UWF pulls off stunning win at West Georgia

A year after losing to West Georgia 69-0, UWF beat the 18th-ranked Wolves 34-29 to wrap an amazing end to the regular season.

The Argos gave up a long touchdown on the first play from scrimmage and fell behind 16-0 in the 1st quarter, but dominated the rest of the way.

Mike Beaudry threw for four touchdowns including a phenomenal one-handed catch by Rodney Coates, and a deflection off a defensive back's foot that was caught by Austin Blake-Smith.

The game follows up a 30-7 win over North Alabama, who also blew out the Argos last season.

UWF ends the regular season at 7-3, and could possibly earn a spot in the NCAA D-II playoffs.
