Walk off win for Wahoos

The Wahoos snapped out of an offensive slump just in time to rally for a 4-3 win over the Tennessee Smokies on Sunday.

Gabriel Guerrero capped the comeback with an walk off RBI single to score Josh VanMeter in the bottom of the 9th. It was part of a three hit game for Guerrero, the nephew for former major league star Vladimir Guerrero.

The Wahoos trailed 3-0 going into the 8th inning, but a two out, two run single by Adrian Nieto pulled them within one.

A throwing error on Smokies first baseman Yasiel Balaguert allowed the tying run to score in the 9th. The Wahoos evened the series at two wins each heading into the series finale on Monday. They had scored a combined three runs in back to back losses on Friday and Saturday.
