Connect With Christina Leavenworth

Christina Leavenworth is our Weekend Evening Anchor. She joined WEAR in May of 2012. Fun Fact: She got her start in journalism at a young age. She was the morning news anchor at Bluewater Elementary school in Niceville, FL.

She has extensive journalism experience. She started her career when she interned at 20/20 and Primetime at ABC News in New York. Another fun fact: Her first job was in Ghana, Africa where she worked for "Good Morning Ghana." She continued her career reporting/anchoring at several stations; TV-13 (Lehighton, PA), WALA (Mobile, AL) and WWL-TV (New Orleans, LA).

Christina is from Niceville, FL and now considers Pensacola "home". She and her husband own Mimi's Crepes Food Truck . She has a daughter and two Chihuahuas. She is a huge advocate for animals. She fosters and helps homeless animals.

She is very involved in the community. She heads up the Friends division of Big Brothers Big Sisters. She serves on the board for Appetite for Life. She is also involved at her church, Generation Church at the Rex.
