Sha'de Ray

Sha’de Ray is News Reporter for WEAR News. She joined the team in February 2023.

As a native Fayetteville, NC, Sha’de is very excited to call the Sunshine State her new home. She started her career as a multimedia journalist in Albany, GA for WFXL Fox 31 News.

Sha’de graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Electronic Media & Film.

While at school, Sha’de enjoyed writing stories for her department’s news site and speaking to so many people in the community.

When not working, Sha’de can be found eating good food, watching funny dog videos, or spending time with friends and family. Her passions are making connections, enjoying life, and improving herself.

Sha’de is grateful to be apart of the WEAR News team, and she can't wait to get to work for the community.
