Cloudy skies are forecast for Thursday with a very low chance for rain. The clouds have been keeping temps cooler and highs will be in the middle to low 80s Thursday. If the sun is out, temps will certainly be much warmer. More sunshine is forecast for Friday. The weekend is offering sunny skies and likely dry weather with very low rain chances and highs in the upper 80s.
The risk of rip currents is moderate to high for the next few days. Late in the week and into the weekend a high risk of rip currents is forecast. Purple flags have been flying at some area beaches for hazardous marine life, usually jellyfish. Check out WEAR-TV live for updates.
